1. Your Right to Data Removal
In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 of India, you have the right to request the removal (erasure) of your personal data held by AlgoDelta Solutions Private Limited.
We respect your right to privacy and will process data removal requests promptly, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain data.
2. What Data Can Be Removed
Upon a valid data removal request, we will delete the following:
- Account Information: Name, mobile number, email address, and account preferences.
- API Keys & Tokens: All API keys, authentication tokens, and session data.
- Server Data: All data on your provisioned servers (servers will be terminated).
- API Usage Logs: API call logs, access logs, and activity history.
- Dashboard Data: All dashboard configurations, labels, and settings.
- Support Tickets: Communication history with our support team.
3. What Data We Must Retain
Certain data must be retained for legal, tax, or regulatory compliance:
- Billing Records & Invoices: Retained for 8 years as required by Indian tax laws (GST Act and Income Tax Act).
- Transaction Records: Payment transaction IDs and amounts for accounting purposes.
- Legal Compliance Data: Any data required to be retained by court order or law enforcement directive.
- Anonymized/Aggregated Data: Non-personally identifiable, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
4. How to Request Data Removal
Step 1: Prepare Your Request
Send an email to support@algodelta.in with the following:
- Subject Line: "Data Removal Request"
- Registered Mobile Number: The mobile number associated with your account
- Account ID: Your AlgoDelta Cloud account identifier (if known)
- Scope: Specify whether you want complete account deletion or removal of specific data
- Reason: Brief description of why you're requesting data removal (optional but helpful)
Step 2: Identity Verification
For security purposes, we will verify your identity via:
- OTP sent to your registered mobile number, OR
- Verification questions based on your account activity
Step 3: Processing
- We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours.
- Data removal will be completed within 30 days of identity verification.
- You will receive confirmation once deletion is complete.
5. Consequences of Data Removal
Please be aware that complete data removal will result in:
- Account Termination: Your AlgoDelta Cloud account will be permanently closed.
- Server Destruction: All active servers will be terminated and data permanently deleted.
- API Key Revocation: All API keys will be invalidated immediately.
- Loss of Access: You will no longer be able to access the dashboard or API.
- Irreversibility: This action cannot be undone. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use our services again.
6. Grace Period
After submitting a data removal request:
- You have a 7-day grace period to cancel the request.
- After 7 days, the deletion process begins and cannot be reversed.
- Active servers will continue to run during the grace period.
- Outstanding payment obligations must be settled before data removal is finalized.
7. Data Removal for Inactive Accounts
Accounts that have been inactive (no login, no active servers, no API calls) for more than 12 consecutive months may be subject to automatic data cleanup. We will attempt to notify you via your registered mobile number and email (if provided) 30 days before any automatic cleanup.
8. Grievance Redressal
If you are unsatisfied with how your data removal request was handled, you may:
- Escalate to our Grievance Officer at support@algodelta.in
- File a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India as established under the DPDP Act, 2023
